Delete, rotate and reorder pages from a thumbnail grid
How to use this tool
- Upload a PDF. Every page renders as a thumbnail in its current order.
- Click the rotate icons on a page to turn it 90 degrees at a time, click the × to remove it entirely, and use the left/right arrows to move it earlier or later in the document.
- Nothing is changed until you download; the original file is left untouched.
- Click Download to save the edited PDF with your rotations, deletions and new order applied.
About this tool
Fix a PDF's page order without special software: rotate a page that was scanned sideways, delete a blank or duplicate page, and drag the rest into the order you actually want, all from one thumbnail grid. Rotation is written into the page itself rather than baked into an image, which is the detail that trips up tools built on rendering a canvas: rotate a page that way and the change can be lost the next time the PDF is opened or printed, because nothing in the file's own page description changed, only how it was drawn once. This tool sets the page's actual rotation property with pdf-lib, so the fix survives being reopened in any reader. Reordering and deleting both work the same way underneath: pages are copied across to a new document in whatever order the thumbnails are left in, skipping anything you removed. Text stays selectable, fonts stay embedded, and nothing is re-rendered as an image, so there is no quality loss. Everything happens locally in your browser, and the file you upload is never transmitted anywhere. That matters here specifically, since the PDFs people rearrange are usually contracts, scanned forms, or reports assembled from several sources.
Frequently asked questions
How do I delete a page from a PDF?
Upload the PDF, click the × on the thumbnail of the page you want gone, and click Download. The page is left out of the new file entirely; nothing is changed until you download, so you can undo a mistake by starting over with the same file.
How do I rotate just one page, not the whole document?
Click the rotate icon on that page's thumbnail as many times as needed, 90 degrees per click. Every other page keeps its own rotation, so a single sideways-scanned page can be fixed without touching the rest.
Why does rotating in some tools not stick when I reopen the file?
Because those tools redraw the page as an image at the new angle rather than changing the page's own rotation value, so a viewer or printer that reads the file's rotation setting directly still shows it the old way. This tool sets the actual page rotation with pdf-lib, which is the same property every PDF reader checks.
How do I reorder pages?
Use the left and right arrow buttons on a thumbnail to move it earlier or later in the sequence. The final document follows whatever order the thumbnails are in when you click Download.
Does this reduce the PDF's quality?
No. Pages are copied into the new document with pdf-lib rather than being re-rendered as images, so selectable text, embedded fonts and image resolution all carry through unchanged; only the rotation and order are altered.
Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
No. Thumbnails render locally and the edited file is built entirely in your browser. Your document is never transmitted anywhere, which matters for contracts, scanned forms and reports.
